14 TYPES OF MAGICAL PERFORMANCE

Just as there are many kind of Magic tricks there are also many type of magical performance, from intimate shows were the audience can closly observe the illusionnist to big scale stunt designed for television production.
1. STAGE ILLUSIONS: The magician performs for a large audience in a theatre or auditorium using large scale props, assistants, and even large animals.
2. PARLOR MAGIC: The magician does TRICKS for a medium sized audience, positioned on the same level as them, with the audience  seated at chairs or no the floor.
3. CLOSE-UP MAGIC: Performing in a close proximity to an audience that is smaller than both first and second stages and it can be as small as one Person. The Magician uses commonly found small object such as playing cards or coins.
4. ESCAPOLOGY: Restrained or confined, the magician breaks free.
5. PICK-POCKET MAGIC: using misdirection the magician stealthily takes item such as wallet and belts of an audience member.
6. MENTALISM: The magician creates impression that they are mind reading or controlling minds.
7. CHILDREN'S MAGIC: Performing for kids at birthday party libraries and school, the magician performs a comedic show and encourages audience participation.
8.MATHEMAGIC:  The magician combines maths and magic typically for children.
9. SREET MAGIC: In this variation of close-up magic, the magician performs on a street surrounded by an audience such as shuffling of three cards in three card monte. Alternatively they may perform for unsuspecting passersby as David Blaine is famous for doing.
10. SHOCK MAGIC: The magician shocks the audience with tricks such as pieceing their with needles and eating razor blade.
11. COMEDY MAGIC: The magician combines magic and stand up comedy in their act, Penn and teller are famous for this.
12. QUICK CHANGE MAGIC: The magician or the assistant changes costumes quickly.
13. CAMERA MAGIC: Designed for TV broadcast and recording the magic takes advantage of editing and viewing audience, inability to see what  is happening out of the camera frame and ever paid extras planted as spectators to create an illusions.
14. CLASSIC MAGIC: In this retro style the artists performs in a classical elegent style of 19 and 20 century Magicians.
